Why can't the disassembly process of a building be considered when designing?
Although the assembly design is carefully done, plasterboard, concrete, wood waste, glass, and other materials are mingled and minced without being separated at the time of disassembly. Some of these materials are improperly disposed of through illegal dumping or burning in the open. In order to confront this reality, we need to redesign the building demolition method from the component design stage and raise the awareness of the entire architectural community.
First of all, we will focus on "glass" and take a new action on its circular economy (raw material → production → consumption → recycling process).
