Slow Art Collective is an art group based in Melbourne, led by Chaco Kato and Dylan Martorell. Their art projects focus on sustainability and multicultural coexistence and embrace public participation by using natural materials like bamboo, rope, and materials found in the city. They create "slow art" as a "device for making connections," a way for diverse people to share and exchange culture instead of fast, monetary exchanges.

In parallel with the Slow Art Collective Tokyo project in the Daimaruyu area (Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho), they will hold an exhibition entitled "Window Garden" at the Hotel Niwa Tokyo in Suidobashi･Jinbocho area.

 

Workshop: Window Garden | 10.15 (Sun)

A workshop by Chako Kato of the Slow Art Collective to connect with art in our daily lives, feeling the environment and nature that spreads out before our feet. Together with the artist, participants will create an original garden by attaching plants they have brought with them to a large piece of glass at a venue where they can feel nature in the heart of the city.
