  • Masaki Fujihata

    A pioneer in the field of media art since the 1980s, he has received numerous awards, including the Ars Electronica Golden Nica Award in 1996, the first Japanese ever to receive such an honor. He has taught at Keio University since 1989 and at Tokyo University of the Arts since 1998, where he helped establish the Graduate School of Film and New Media in 2005. In 2022, his exhibition “BeHere / 1942” on the theme of Japanese American incarceration was held by the Yanai Initiative and the Japanese American National Museum (JANM).

  • Ryo Fujiwara
    Photogrammetrist at HoloLab, engaged in CG, video production, and architectural visualization such as simulation using game engines, and currently belongs to mixpace team and SIAR team (Spatial Info ARchitects) at HoloLab Inc. In the mixpace team, he develops AR/MR services for 3D data such as BIM, etc. In the SIAR team, he is engaged in digital archiving of real space using photogrammetry and laser scanning, as well as AR/VR/MR content production.
  • Miran Fukuda
                    
    Painter. Born in Tokyo in 1963, Miran Fukuda graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1985 with a B.A. in Oil Painting and an M.A. in Fine Arts from the same university. Her work offers insightful views on art in today’s world, which is overflowing with diverse media and reproduction techniques. Her works have been shown in major exhibitions in Japan and overseas. Recent solo exhibitions include “Miran Fukuda” (Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, 2013) and “Miran Fukuda—Viewing the Collection of Chiba City Museum of Art” (Chiba City Museum of Art, 2021). “Special Exhibition 35th Anniversary Miran Fukuda – What is Art?” will be held from September 23 to November 19, 2023 (Nagoya City Art Museum, Aichi).
