Born 1962 in Tokyo. Based between Tokyo, Paris, Kyoto, and Nagano, Maha Harada is a creative visionary and exceptional storyteller who has produced world-class, category-defying writing. Harada is one of the founding curators of Tokyo’s acclaimed Mori Art Museum; when it was established, she was sent to represent the Museum as a project researcher at its principal cultural partner, The Museum of Modern Art, New York. It is for this reason that Harada is renowned as Japan’s leading creator of art novels and art entertainment.
She is among Japan’s most talked-about writers and creatives, and her extraordinary experiences give her an unparalleled ability to blend art and literature. Harada’s art novels journey into the past to breathe fresh life into some of the world’s most beloved artists, who still enchant countless people today. These stories transcend time and generation crossing the boundaries of nation and region. At the same time, they are rooted in the experiences of a woman born and raised in Japan.
Professor of the Department of Design, Tokyo University of the Arts. Transcending the boundaries of design and art, he conducts research and social collaboration projects in spatial design and sculpture that value sensibility and are not bound by preconceived notions.
Photographer. Born 1958 in Rikuzentakata, Iwate. Hatakeyama is a photographer based in Tokyo whose works focus on the relationship between nature, city, and photography. He represented Japan in the 49th Venice Biennale held in 2001, and in 2012 participated in the Japanese pavillion of the Vennice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition (received Golden Lion prize). In addition, Hatakeyama received the 42nd Mainichi Art Award in 2001, as well as the Art Encouragement Prize by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2012.
Contemporary Artist. Born in Finland, based in Helsinki. Received a master’s degree in art after studies at The Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, Sweden and The Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, Finland. Researching and operating intentionally through various methods.

Henry Grahn Hermunen
Contemporary Artist researching and operating intentionally through various methods. Born in Finland, based in Finland and Sweden. He received a master’s degree in art after studying at The Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, Sweden and The Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, Finland. Taking a poetic approach to environmental ecology, he has undertaken socio-political projects nationally and internationally since 1992. He makes work about and studies the division of body and soul—life after life. One example of this is his images in several transparent sequences/layers.

Kick me Gently was shown as part of the art installation Water Table in a Renaissance Garden shown at The Art Pavilion in London, UK, and later at The State Hermitage Museum and The Experimental Art Biennale at the Main Exhibition Hall of St. Petersburg, Russia.
Rikard Larsson
Swedish poet and writer with an inclination for the odd and unexpected in a philosophical sense. During 2023, he has teamed up with contemporary Finnish/Swedish artist Henry Grahn Hermunen for the ongoing art-project “Perspectives Lyriques.”
Artist. Took a master's degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. He received the Grand Prize at the 3rd Japan Graphic Exhibition in 1982, the Grand Prize at the 30th ADC Awards in 1983. He exhibited at the Sydney Biennale in 1986, and the Venice Biennale in 1995. He has been a professor at Tokyo University of the Arts since 2007, and was appointed the President of Tokyo University of the Arts in 2022. Other major appointments include Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu, Director of the Contemporary Art Museum Kumamoto, and Chairman of the Social Contribution Committee of the Japan Football Association.
Musician and sound designer. He has performed in 10 countries, including the prestigious clubs Berghain and Tresor mainly in Europe. Established a sound design company Echoes Breath. He has also been involved in the background music for Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten store, product sound production for FUJITEC elevator , and spatial sound design for Sumitomo Chemical's SYNERGYCA. As independent activities, he is involved in the automatic background music construction system AISO and the porcelain brand "monowoto" (sound x vessel).
Michael is an Artist/Researcher from New Zealand with a multidisciplinary background across dance, performance art, architecture and design, video, public art, and community development. He completed his PhD in the Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia) and was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Senselab at Concordia University in Montreal (Canada). Michael’s art presentations include Melbourne Festival, the International Symposium on Electronic Art (Sydney, Vancouver, Hong Kong); and a long history of creative work in Asia - training with Butoh masters in Japan, performing at Melaka Festival in Malaysia, Asiatopia International Performance Art Festival, and Bangkok Design Week in Thailand, Pelem and Arts Island Festivals in Indonesia. Michael is based in Bangkok, where he is on Faculty in the School of Global Studies at Thammasat University. He is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Buffalo Field Festival in the old town area of Nang Loeng, focused on site-specific performance and community engagement.
